Is it safe to pay on BLOCO?

Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1), encrypted end to end, and BLOCO never stores your card details.

Completely. Here's exactly how your payment is protected when you buy through BLOCO.

Payments are processed by Stripe

BLOCO uses Stripe to process all payments. Stripe is one of the world's leading payment processors, used by millions of businesses globally. It is PCI DSS Level 1 certified - the highest level of payment security certification available. This means your card details are handled by Stripe's secure infrastructure, not by BLOCO directly.

BLOCO never stores your card details

When you pay on BLOCO, your full card number, expiry date, and CVV are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form. BLOCO never sees or stores your full card details. All we hold is a payment reference.

Every transaction is encrypted

All data transmitted between your device and our platform is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). This is the same technology used by banks and major online retailers. You'll see the padlock icon in your browser address bar confirming the connection is secure.

Fraud detection is built in

Stripe's fraud detection runs on every transaction automatically. If anything looks suspicious, it flags the payment before it goes through. BLOCO also monitors transactions for unusual activity.

What you can do to stay safe

  • Always buy from bloco.co.uk or the official BLOCO app - not from links shared on social media or messaging apps.
  • Never share your BLOCO account login with anyone.
  • If you spot a charge you don't recognise, raise a concern through your BLOCO account straight away.

If you ever see a charge you don't recognise from BLOCO, check your booking history in your account first before contacting your bank. It's likely a ticket purchase you forgot about.
