Customer Terms of Service
The terms that govern your purchase of tickets through BLOCO.
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing a ticket. By completing a purchase you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not proceed with your booking.
1. About BLOCO and These Terms
1.1 Bloco Ltd (BLOCO, we, us, our) is a ticketing technology platform. We provide the technology and payment infrastructure that allows event organisers (Organisers) to sell tickets to members of the public (Customers or you).
1.2 BLOCO is a ticketing merchant only. We do not organise, promote, host, manage, or produce any event listed on our platform. The Organiser is solely responsible for the event, its content, its running, and any obligations arising from it.
1.3 These Terms govern the relationship between you (the Customer) and BLOCO in relation to the purchase of tickets through bloco.co.uk, the BLOCO mobile application, or any white-label service powered by BLOCO (the Platform).
1.4 A separate contract exists between you and the Organiser in relation to the event itself. BLOCO is not a party to that contract.
1.5 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, unless you reside in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may elect your local jurisdiction.
2. Ticket Purchases
2.1 All tickets are sold subject to availability. Availability is set entirely by the Organiser.
2.2 To purchase a ticket, you must follow the booking process on the Platform, select the relevant event and ticket type, and complete payment in full at the time of booking.
2.3 A booking confirmation will be issued once full payment has been received and processed. Your booking confirmation and tickets are accessible via your BLOCO account dashboard, the BLOCO mobile app, and by email. Tickets may also be saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for convenient access on event day. No contract of sale is formed until a booking confirmation is issued.
2.4 You must check your booking confirmation immediately upon receipt. Any errors must be reported by raising a concern through your BLOCO account within 24 hours.
2.5 Tickets are personal to the named ticket holder. Tickets may not be resold or transferred except where the Platform expressly permits a transfer to another registered BLOCO user through the in-platform transfer function. Any transfer made outside of this function is invalid and may result in refusal of entry.
2.6 By completing a booking, the lead booker confirms they:
- are aged 18 or over (or the parent/guardian of a named minor where permitted);
- have authority to book on behalf of all named attendees;
- accept these Terms in full on behalf of all persons in the booking.
3. Pricing and Booking Fees
3.1 Ticket prices are set by the Organiser. BLOCO does not set or control ticket prices.
3.2 A booking fee is charged per transaction. This fee is set by BLOCO and is displayed clearly before you confirm payment. The booking fee covers the cost of platform operation, payment processing, and ticket distribution.
3.3 The Organiser may choose to absorb the booking fee so that it does not appear as a separate charge to you. Whether the fee is displayed separately or included within the ticket price, BLOCO always retains its booking fee in full.
3.4 All prices displayed include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
4. Payment Processing
4.1 All payments are processed securely via Stripe, our payment processing partner. By making a payment you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy, available at stripe.com.
4.2 BLOCO accepts major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.
4.3 By entering your payment details you confirm that you are the authorised cardholder or account holder. BLOCO reserves the right to cancel any booking where fraudulent payment is suspected.
4.4 All payment data is held by Stripe. BLOCO does not store your full card details.
4.5 Depending on the event, payment may be processed directly by the Organiser via Stripe Connect. In such cases, the payment is collected and held by the Organiser, and BLOCO's fee is deducted at the point of transaction. The Organiser is the merchant of record for such transactions.
5. Booking Fees - Non-Refundable
BLOCO's booking fee is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances whatsoever. This applies regardless of whether the event is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled, or you choose not to attend. No exceptions will be made.
5.1 The booking fee is earned by BLOCO at the point of transaction and compensates BLOCO for the provision of its ticketing, payment infrastructure, and distribution services.
5.2 In the event of cancellation by the Organiser, any refund of the ticket face value is subject to the Organiser's refund policy (see Section 6). In no event will the booking fee form part of any refund.
6. Refunds, Cancellations, and Amendments
6.1 BLOCO is not responsible for refunds. Refund eligibility is determined entirely by the Organiser's refund policy, which is set and displayed on the event listing page.
6.2 Organisers may set one of the following refund policies:
- No Refunds - no refund is available under any circumstances;
- Refunds up to 1 day before the event;
- Refunds up to 7 days before the event;
- Case-by-case - the Organiser will review refund requests individually.
6.3 It is your responsibility to check and understand the Organiser's refund policy before completing your purchase.
6.4 If you wish to request a refund, you must contact the Organiser directly. Organiser contact details are available on the event listing page. BLOCO does not mediate, arbitrate, or process refund requests on behalf of Organisers.
6.5 Where a refund is approved by the Organiser and notified to BLOCO, BLOCO will process the refund of the ticket face value within 30 days. The booking fee will not be refunded.
6.6 If an event is cancelled by the Organiser, the Organiser is responsible for notifying Customers and authorising any refund of the ticket face value. BLOCO will process approved refunds within 30 days of receiving authorisation from the Organiser, minus the non-refundable booking fee.
6.7 BLOCO is not liable to you for any loss, cost, or expense arising from an event cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling. Your recourse is solely against the Organiser.
6.8 Tickets may only be transferred to another registered BLOCO user through the in-platform transfer function. Transfers made outside the Platform - including via social media, messaging apps, or third-party resale sites - are invalid. BLOCO accepts no liability for any loss arising from an off-platform transfer.
7. Event Attendance
7.1 Entry to an event is subject to production of a valid ticket or pass, as well as compliance with all venue, health and safety, and event-specific requirements set by the Organiser or venue.
7.2 Tickets are issued electronically and are accessible via your BLOCO account, the BLOCO app, by email, and via Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. You must present a valid e-ticket at the point of entry. You must not allow others to use your e-ticket.
7.3 The Organiser has absolute discretion over admission. BLOCO accepts no liability for refusal of admission by the Organiser or venue.
7.4 Event programmes, artists, and attractions are subject to change at the Organiser's discretion. Changes do not automatically give rise to a right of refund.
7.5 You must comply with the Organiser's code of conduct, age restrictions, and any venue rules. Failure to do so may result in removal without refund.
8. BLOCO's Liability
8.1 BLOCO provides a ticketing platform only. We are not the event organiser, promoter, producer, or host. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- BLOCO is not liable for any act, omission, or failure of the Organiser or event venue;

- BLOCO is not liable for any loss of enjoyment, travel costs, accommodation costs, or consequential losses;
- BLOCO's total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the booking fee paid by you for the relevant transaction.
8.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits BLOCO's liability for death or personal injury caused by BLOCO's negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Data Protection
9.1 BLOCO collects and processes your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at bloco.co.uk/privacy. By using the Platform, you consent to such processing.
9.2 Your personal data may be shared with the Organiser of any event you purchase a ticket for, for the purpose of event administration, check-in, and fulfilment.

9.4 BLOCO complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
