Buying for one other person
When you go through checkout, you'll be asked for attendee details. You can enter the other person's name as the ticket holder. The booking confirmation will be sent to your email address, and you can then forward it on or share the ticket with them through your BLOCO account.
Buying for a group
Select the number of tickets you need at checkout - you can usually buy multiple tickets in a single transaction, up to any limit the organiser has set per order. All tickets will come through to your email and appear in your account under one booking reference.
If each person in your group needs their own individual QR code to scan in separately, make sure the event uses individual tickets and not a group or table ticket. Check the event listing or ask the organiser.
Sharing tickets with the people you bought for
Once you have the tickets in your account, you can transfer individual tickets to other registered BLOCO users directly through the platform. They'll receive the ticket in their own account, ready to show on event day. Transfers must be done through BLOCO - sharing screenshots of QR codes is not safe and can result in entry being refused.
Don't share your QR code screenshot with someone else. Each QR code only works once. If they use it before you arrive, you won't get in.
Does the name on the ticket matter?
This depends on the organiser. Some events are strictly name-matched at the door and require ID. Others don't check names at all and just scan the QR code. Check the event listing or the organiser's instructions - it'll usually say if ID is required.
