Can I get a refund on my ticket?

It depends on the organiser's refund policy. The booking fee is always non-refundable.

The short answer: it depends on the organiser's refund policy. Here's everything you need to know.

BLOCO's role in refunds

BLOCO is a ticketing platform - we process ticket sales on behalf of event organisers. We don't organise events ourselves, which means refund decisions are made by the organiser, not by us.

Think of it like buying a flight through a travel booking site - if you want a refund, you deal with the airline, not the booking platform.

The organiser's refund policy

Every event on BLOCO has a refund policy set by the organiser. You can see the policy on the event page before you buy. Organisers can offer:

  • No Refunds - tickets are non-refundable once purchased
  • Refunds up to 1 day before the event
  • Refunds up to 7 days before the event
  • Case-by-case - the organiser reviews each request individually

Always check the refund policy before you buy. It's shown clearly on the event listing page and at checkout.

How to request a refund

If the organiser's refund policy allows it, contact the organiser directly. You'll find their contact details on the event page or in your booking confirmation email. BLOCO doesn't handle refund requests on behalf of organisers - you'll need to go to them directly.

Once a refund is approved

If the organiser approves your refund and lets us know, we'll process it back to your original payment method within 30 days. You'll receive an email confirmation when it's been processed.

What about the booking fee?

The booking fee is non-refundable in all circumstances - even if the event is cancelled. This is clearly shown at checkout before you pay and is covered in our Customer Terms.

The booking fee covers the cost of running the BLOCO platform, payment processing, and ticket distribution. It's earned at the point of transaction.
