Help Centre/Refunds & cancellations

The event has been cancelled - what happens to my ticket?

You're entitled to a refund of the ticket face value once the organiser authorises it; the booking fee is non-refundable.

If an event you've booked gets cancelled, here's exactly what happens and what you're entitled to.

Who is responsible for the cancellation?

The event organiser. BLOCO is a ticketing platform - we sell tickets on behalf of organisers, but we don't run the events. If an event is cancelled, it's the organiser's responsibility to let ticket holders know and to deal with refunds.

Will I be notified?

The organiser should notify all ticket holders directly by email. If BLOCO is made aware of the cancellation, we'll also do our best to flag it to you. Keep an eye on the organiser's social media pages too - that's usually where cancellations are announced first.

Am I entitled to a refund?

If an event is cancelled by the organiser, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket face value. Once the organiser confirms the cancellation and authorises refunds, BLOCO will process the refund back to your original payment method within 30 days.

The booking fee is non-refundable even in the case of cancellation. Only the ticket face value will be refunded.

What if the organiser isn't responding?

If you've not heard from the organiser and you're unsure whether your refund is coming, contact us at support@bloco.co.uk and we'll look into it for you. Include your booking reference and the event name.

What about postponed events?

A postponement is different from a cancellation. If an event is rescheduled to a new date, you won't automatically be entitled to a refund - that depends on the organiser's policy. Check the organiser's communication for details, or contact them directly.

Already got Booking Protect? A cancellation may be covered depending on the circumstances. Check the Booking Protect terms for your policy.
